How can you shoot sports on a budget and what's in my bag?

Welcome to my blog! It's officially my first blog post. I'm going to try and post regularly and I'll hopefully find some interesting content for you along the way.

I thought for a while about what the subject of this post should be, eventually I decided to focus on something that I personally have been interested in since I started this 2 years ago. Although Sports is just one area of photography for me, it is something that I've always been passionate about and I really enjoy shooting all sports, from day one I've wanted to do it as well as I can, but..... Is it possible to shoot sports on a budget? What gear can you buy to shoot sports that doesn't involve you selling your car?

I recorded this video as a way of showing that you can shoot sports on a budget, I'll be the first to admit you'll undoubtedly get better results if you can afford a load of Canon L lenses and a couple of 1DX bodies, but for those that can't stretch to that right now (me included) here's what you can do in the meantime.

It's also an opportunity to just be nosey about what's in my bag!
