Last summer I was invited along to help a friend of mine photograph the Wings and Wheels show at Dunsfold Aerodrome. I had a fantastic time, it was my first opportunity to photograph aircraft and I really enjoyed it, it was a steep learning curve too! Those jets move with some serious pace!
I was really hoping to get invited back to shoot the show again so when I got the nod at the beginning of August I was chuffed to bits. The show this year was fantastic, we struggled with the weather the previous summer, so it was great to have two days of sunshine. The array of cars, bikes and aircraft was really impressive and they allowed for some great shots. This year was the 10th Anniversary for the show and they had certainly pulled out all the stops to make it one to remember.
I came away from the weekend with around 3000 shots! It certainly took a while to work the number down to a reasonable sized selection, but below are a few of my favourite images. I'm looking forward to Wings and Wheels 2015 already!
